YpsiWrites:
Public Art & Writing Tour

Ready to explore Ypsilanti through art and writing? We’ve partnered with the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA) to create tours that take you on an adventure through our community. Each stop highlights a specific piece or art, including Ypsilanti’s colorful and inspiring murals, sculptures, drawings, architecture, and found art.

Spend time responding to the writing prompts included with your tour packets. Let your imagination wander and enjoy experiencing all of the creativity that Ypsilanti has to offer!

All groups and solo writers are invited to participate in these family-friendly tours.

Parking and bus stop information is included on each map.
