Untitled

Red tongue swallows a spark

hide and reveal

not a lark

But real.

A curtain, or the deep red void?

A dive into your reflection

crimson velvet stranglehold

on your attention.

Not why did they do that

(To show)

but how did they do that

(You’ll never know).

Bring mystery to light

Sit in awe at its presence

Know it’s not for human sight

Accept and call on transcendence.

Do you still see a star?

Knowing not that it burns

or trust in its life from afar

and remember to it you will return.

Lift the shimmering veil

and find more under

an infinite tale

of human wonder.
