Meeting via Zoom
National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) began in 1999 as a daunting but straightforward challenge: to write 50,000 words of a novel in thirty days. Each year on November 1, people around the world begin to write, determined to end the month with a first draft. This year, YpsiWrites will hold write-ins to support anyone participating in NaNoWriMo or anyone who simply wants to get a good start on writing a novel. Write-ins will be an opportunity to write and feel supported by others who are also taking on this challenge.
YpsiWrites team members and volunteers will be on hand during the sessions to offer prompts, feedback, and encouragement. Writers can come to any session for as long as they’d like: The sessions will mainly serve as dedicated writing time for participants. YpsiWrites will also feature prompts and writing encouragement via their website and social media accounts throughout November.
