What are you writing?
Mostly what I've been writing lately has been a novel, but I frequently fit in time for writing poetry. Writing a poem is often a therapeutic process for me. I appreciate the scope of a poem: short in length but heavy in concept. Writing poetry is a great way to draw connections between the different ideas or feelings floating around in your head!
Why are you writing Write Now?
I write right now because, in 2019, I temporarily lost my ability to write when I had a multiple sclerosis flare-up that affected my writing hand. It took a few months of physical therapy and willpower to regain that ability. The experience inspired me to seize the opportunity to write now and not to wait for "one day."
